How To Increase Traffic To Your Blogging Site

November 29th, 2009

Popularizing your blog is not as simple as it sounds.  There are certain basic ground rules to observe to guarantee continuous increase in blog traffic.  These are some working tips that you can implement quite simply to push your blog popularity.  There are naturally pro service providers out there who can drive up your blog traffic with such tips and more. One we strongly recommend is Bloggers Payback.

Making your blog attractive and unique is the most vital thing to improve visits to your blog.  There are many CMS tools available online to make a choice from in order to build your own customised blog.  A blog which you build from the start can be made more creative and accommodative for future blog expansion.  Once you’ve a blog with a pleasant “look and feel” you should host it at the right place.  Hosting it up on your own domain instead of a different domain is the best idea you might think about because you can then attract enough links and attention automatically.  Next is to focus on blog content.  When you are giving titles to your posts confirm they’re small and catchy at the same time.  They should also include intelligent keywords or phrases that would throw up your blog when a search is launched using search engines.  Participating actively on forums and other related blogs is necessary to popularizing your own blog.  When you write engaging stuff on already existing high traffic blogs and sites, folks who are interested by your writing are likely to get tempted to know more about you and can be easily inspired to visit your blog.  Tagging your posts also helps massively to increase blog visitors.

The content on your blog that’s in the posts should be on topics that are exclusive, informative and helpful to the bloggers.  Subjects should be based mostly on what folks want to know and learn.  This way you’ll have repeat visitors and also word of mouth hoopla citing your blog as being educational to read.

Ensure that you provide links on your posts that are important.  Ensure that you don’t carry ads until your blog has got a good following. Following a blueprint like Bloggers Payback can help you with this. Get some well-liked guest bloggers to make a contribution to your blog.  This would be a good way to make visibility for your blog.  Nicely formatted text accentuated with a few charts would make better reading than mere flow of text.

Tracking software for visitors will help you to grasp what is getting viewed and what’s being ignored.  Research the traffic that flows into your blog.  Keep adjusting your content based mostly on the feedback you can get from such software.  You will have some preferred content that’s very old.  But make it easily reached to your visitors by organizing your archives well in terms of subjects and dates.  Sharing “secret” information that is generally not exposed to the general public can help your blog to zoom up in appreciation charts — like some trade secrets, details on pricing etc that may be shared without any harm to the business can be done.

Three Blogging Models

October 13th, 2009

Customize Your WordPress Dashboard

Blogging is not just a form of self-communication, it’s also an excellent way to make money online. If you’re new to blogging and yet want to start quickly, there are several business models you can try for maximum results in a short time. This article discussed the three most popular methods.

The first method is paid blog posting. Create your blog and add a few decent articles as the content. Then you signup with paid blogging networks like Pay Per Post or Review Me and see what “opportunities” are available. These networks are filled with advertisers looking for blogger who can help them spread the word, and they are willing to pay. Accept the opportunity, write about it on your blog, and you get paid.

The second method is WordPress and AdSense and it requires a little more technical know-how. You need to build a WordPress blog on a specific niche topic, and start writing some good content on it. Once you’re done, leave comments on other blogs to get some important one-way links. The objective is to get more traffic who will click on your AdSense ads and make you money.

The third and most sophisticated method is affiliate marketing with WordPress blogs. Again, you set-up a good WordPress blog but with this model the amount of content you publish is not as important as the “selling quality” of the content. Each post you write must pre-sell the web visitor and convince him to click on your affiliate links. When the visitor makes a purchase online after that, you get credited for the sale and earn commissions.

Ultimately, which model you choose depends on how much time and resources you can dedicate to creating and managing your blogs. Your best bet is to choose a low-investment option at first. When you get the hang of it, you can venture into other blogging models as well.

September 28th, 2009

It was a few years ago that I first decided to create a blog to learn how to how to make money from home using websites. Back then, I use the blog mainly to keep up with friends. The fast pace of the way information moves has make letters and phone calls quickly becoming more inefficient. Even e-mails are starting to go that way – at least in keeping in touch with your friends.

Creating a blog has many advantages over these other forms of traditional communication. One of the biggest ones is that if you have some news to announce, you can give it to everyone at once. The blog is created once, and it save you from repeating the same thing over again to different people.Everyone can access the site and read it.

People have online identity for various reasons.Right now, the most popular reason for any to go online is social networking. But, there are some focus on very specific reason.  This could be due to the fact that these people wish to focus on niche topic and attract like mindedness people only.Such blogs could be gossiping on celebrities, politics or even Paris Hilton.

Even there is nothing to write about, you can still have a post on your blog just to keep the community warm. This can help keep you abreast of what is happening in the world.  The best way to do this is to become a blogger yourself. You can communicate with other bloggers and exchange information this way.  You can also learn how to make money on blogging with internet marketing affiliate program

Buidling My Own Website Is Fun

September 26th, 2009

Create blog website was nothing new for me. You see, I have been involved in the Internet since long time ago. Today, you can keep touch with friends via webpage and putting up post. Blogging, after all, is basically the new small talk. For better or for worse, I was creating my own webpage before I could write a decent sentence. And, none of my own websites were particularly technologically sophisticated – something that got me into trouble.

When I decided on creating my own business website to make money at home online, I thought there would be nothing to it. In theory, I knew it would be more complicated than creating my own website had been in the past. Most of my websites have been pretty simple things – posted content with little or no interaction. Of course, people could post responses to some of my blogs and vote in online polls, but nothing more than that. It was all pretty straightforward, and it required no programming knowledge or experience at all. Based on this, for some reason, I figured out that I could create a business website without any problem. Well, it cannot be that difficult? It turn out that the process can be very tough! As a matter of fact, making my own website for my business was one of the stupidest things that I have ever tried to do.

It seem easy at the begining. I decided that I would start off with the things I knew how to do and then learn the things I didn’t know how to do as I got to them. I knew the fundamental such as design layout, how to make some good content, and how to organize menus. Then I tried to do fancy things and it starts to collapse.  The lesson lernt here is that you must be prepared and stick to the basic.  Getting fancy about things may turn out to be not so good an idea.

3 Important Tips To SEO Your Blog

September 24th, 2009

For many bloggers, they fail to realize how important search engine traffic can be because they don’t understand how search engines work and how important it is for their blogs to rank high for their chosen keywords. This is one reason you’ll see so many bloggers fail to earn money online.

SEO’ing your blog post is simple. All it takes is just 3 simple steps. By following these easy steps, you can increase traffic which can be the difference in a blog that creates its blogger virtually no income or one that produces a full time income for the Owner.

Follow the advice below to SEO optimize every article you post and take advantage of free Internet search engine traffic.

For starters, you should make absolutely sure that your article url’s are SEO friendly. With many free blog services like BlogSpot, this is already done. If you use WordPress, then you’ll want to change your url structure so that blog creates search engine optimized url’s when you create a blog entry.

The way you get this done in WordPress is go to the Permalinks tab, and check the button along side the Custom field. Then you’ll put a percentage sign followed by the words Postname. {Immediately after the words postname, Now} add another percentage sign. Now all your blog post will have optimized addresses.

The best tip to optimizing your blog is to put your main keyword in the Title. For example, if you’re blogging about how to make fast money, then use these keywords in the Title of your blog and your blog post. Don’t put something like Johns Blog. Using the keywords in the Title, then you’ll rank higher than if you name the blog something that does not tell the search engine what your blogs about.

Your next step is to write your keywords in your Post’s title. If you’re targeting people to read your post about using Ebay to earn money, then your keywords need to be in your post title. Not irrelevant keywords like How I Make Money With Auctions. Doing this prevents the search engine bots from figuring out what your post is about and you won’t attract the right kind of traffic. This is the secret to also earning high paying clicks with Adsese.

By following this advice, you will be letting the Search Engines determine what subject your blog post is about. By making it easy easy for the search engines to know what your post is about, they’ll rank you higher than a non-optimized blog.

Building links to each of your optimized post is the last step in dominating the search engine rankings with your blog post. But I’ll have to save that for another post. But you need to learn how to optimize your blog before tackling link building.

Beginner Basics To Making Money With Affiliate Marketing

September 9th, 2009

An affiliate business is a simple system in which you can earn commissions by promoting the service and products of someone else. If you want to start making money with affiliate programs you should have your own website, or at least your own blog, where you can place your affiliate links. As with everything, the best tip in affiliate marketing for beginners so as to flourish in this potentially profitable endeavor is to know the fundamentals first and then build upon them with every step made.

If you want to build an online presence for your affiliate marketing efforts, you should follow some particular steps in you want to work from home. For instance you need to create a blog or website that caters to a niche market. Choose your product carefully.

All businesses have their routine for making money and if you want yours to be lucrative, you need to dedicate some serious time in it, educating yourself. Try to avoid promising unknown products for your opening project.

Try to benefit from the product’s name. Do not start your affiliate career choosing an unknown product and company. To begin, just choose one niche to focus on. Afterwards, you can move on to different niches and expand your business.

Although savvy affiliate marketers suggest that you should diversify your niche portfolio, it is recommended not to do so at the beginning. Make sure that you have some knowledge on the niche though; you cannot expect yourself to be a good promoter, if you are not interested in the actual product. If you hold some interest on it, you can promote the product much more effectively.

Use both banners and texts to promote your business. Try to avoid invasive and aggressive banners that are not pleasing and ones that are distracting to their eye. The point is to create an eye catching result, so make sure that your blog looks good. The affiliate landing page is crucial; if your visitor dislikes what he sees, he will not choose to do business with you.

Furthermore, make sure that the rules and Merchant’s agreement are solid and comprehensible. Do not do business with a company before you read and understand their terms and conditions. Your best option for long term success in your project is to build your blog with worthy content and one that meets all the requirements of the Merchant’s terms and conditions.

Top 10 Internet Marketing Tactics For Your Blog

July 27th, 2009

Blogs are a very popular way to create an online presence for business or personal reasons. You can easily build a blog for free and begin posting content in just a couple of minutes. But, what is great content if you have no readers. Here are ten great ideas and tactics to drive tons of traffic to your blog.

Of all the successful bloggers that are {making money from blogs-make money blogging} on the Internet, hundreds more have failed. Running a blog is similar to running a business website. Unless you put the time in and work hard at first you won’t be a successful blogger for very long.

That is not to say that the failed bloggers weren’t serious bloggers. Mostly, newbie bloggers aren’t prepared for the work it takes to be a successful blogger. Just building the blog won’t mean people will just come to you. You pursue the audience and give them a reason to see what you have to say.

1.Fresh Content – no one wants to visit a blog day after day and see the same old stale posts. Make sure to update your blog frequently and be consistant about it. It will be MUCH easier if you write several posts ahead of time and upload them in a time sequence.

2.Article Marketing – the niche you’ve chosen for your blog is one that interests you. If you like it and it’s interesting, you will find you have more time for it. Create content not only for your blog but also to be submitted to article directories. Use the resource box to ad your link to your blog and so people can find you.

3.Social Networking Web 2.0 – these sites are all over the net. Join Myspace Facebook, Squidoo, Twitter along with numerous others to make connections. You can join groups of likeminded people who are also bloggers or entrepreneurs.

4.Viral Marketing – this is where you spread the word about your blog. Talk to friends, family and strangers. Give out business cards that have your blog address on them.

5.Use RSS Feeds – “Really Simple Syndication.” Readers can subscribe to your feed and get email updates when new content is posted. It is an easy way for them to keep up with your blog without spending all day online.

6.Submit Blog to Search Engines – this will allow your blog to be picked up and ranked. Google and Yahoo! are two of the more important and popular search engines you want to spider your blog. It doesn’t guarantee top ranking, though. You will have to do more work for that.

7.Joining Forums – as a blogger you are a budding entrepreneur. At first you are marketing yourself to get traffic and after that to make a profit. Become a member of business forums, work at home forums and others to meet new people and share ideas. Make sure to add a link to your blog in the signature line so others can find you.

8.Visit other blogs – show your appreciation to those who visit you by also posting comments on their blogs. It is a kindness that shows others you are not just out to advertise your blog alone. Add links to your blog in your comments.

9.SEO Marketing – write using relevant search terms. Keyword density between three and ten percent is good for getting higher page rankings in search engines. Base your postings on keywords you research to find the most popular search terms used in the search engines for your niche.

10.Social Bookmarking – submitting posts to social bookmarking sites allows others who are members of those sites to track you back to your blog.

Putting to use the ideas will kickstart your blog into the right direction. It will take time but eventually if you continue to work at it you will build your empire and the readership you want.

Common Internet Marketing Blunders

July 5th, 2009

If you’re just starting on your goal to start a small business online or make money blogging, then you’re luckier than you think. True, a spike in the number of online enterprises and money-making blogs has also encouraged a fiercer sense of competition between entrepreneurs. What works to your advantage, however, is the fact that there’s a lot of information now on how you can earn money from your site. Advice is all over the place, as are tutorials and instructional manuals on how you can put up your online store or start blogging for money.

One of the first things you’ll find out about making a profit online is that you have to draw up an effective internet marketing strategy. If you’re no stranger to blogging for profit, you would know by now that a good internet marketing strategy is indispensable when it comes to earning money from your site. This means that you have to look for a more effective way to advertise or promote your site.

What a lot of neophytes are unaware of, however, is the fact that not all internet marketing strategies will work for their benefit. Some of the internet marketing advice you’ll get will be downright unreliable or ineffective, and many bloggers who want to jumpstart their online ventures or make money blogging end up using these flawed marketing strategies. Are you also committing these internet marketing blunders? Read on to find out what you should NOT do if you want to launch a successful promotional campaign for your blog:

1. Building a website that’s great to look at – but takes ages to load:

It’s good to put effort into your blog’s appearance, to make it as attractive as possible to create a favorable impression on your visitors. What won’t work, however, is a blog design that takes forever to load on the screen, or a site that’s bogged down by too many high-end applications. Remember that your visitors aren’t behooved to be patient with your site — instead, it’s your obligation to make web surfing a rewarding experience for them. Ultimately, a gorgeous site that takes too much time to load is just as bad as an ugly template. Both of them make your readers feel like you’re wasting their time, and they’ll just end up moving on to other blogs where they can get what they want in a few seconds.

2. Expending minimal effort at keyword research:

Some bloggers and online businesspeople think that keyword research stops at finding out which search terms get the most number of hits on Google. Sure, these are all part of the whole package. But have you actually come up with a keyword research system that will really make your site earn money?

Don’t just stop at looking up keyword rankings and finding out how many people, on average, are using the search terms, “how to lose weight”. Instead, you should also watch the activity behind each keyword you put up strategically on your site: which keywords actually fetch you the most number of visits? Of these keywords, which ones actually end up with a sign-up or a sale? You should start a process for keyword research that’s more organized and more relevant in its thrust.

3. Scratching just the surface of your web stats:

Okay, so you already have Google Analytics tracking the activity on your site. It’s been running for a good while now, gathering a lot of useful data that you can use to boost your blog’s earnings. But are you really making the most out of your analytics tool? Most bloggers just look at how many people are going to their site, taking note of how much time their visitors are spending on which web page, et cetera. You have to recognize, however, that assessing your blog stats only by these factors is a superficial evaluation of your site’s performance.

A better tack would be to find out where your traffic is coming from. Are they coming from search engines? Which keywords are bringing your visitors to your site? Maybe your e-mail campaign is hauling all your visitors in? Whatever it is, make sure that you know where your visitors are coming from so you know where your blog should go.

But remember: there’s no use coming up with a great marketing campaign if your product is found to be inferior. Your best advertisement still lies in your product itself. No matter how good your promotional tactics are, a bad product will never sustain a profit for long. A good, reliable product will make its own waves when it’s introduced properly to its target market. So don’t think twice about shaping up your blog. Come up with an effective marketing strategy that will ensure the success of your site, and you’re good to go.
