Although there are several different types of cash gifting programs out there, the most well known type of cash gifting program is better known as the “pyramid scheme”. With the pyramid scheme, your job is to simply enroll other people in the program. When these people pay to become part of the program, you get a part of those funds. Since there are no products or services actually being sold, however, cash gifting programs are actually illegal.

Although cash gift is against the law, several individuals still engage in it anyway because they believe it to be an easy way to make some fast cash. When you start a work from home business, you create an honarable source of income that will bring you money day after day, year after year.

So, rather than fall victim for a cash gifting program that will not provide you with the long-term income you are looking for, consider starting your own home based business. There are several different home based business opportunities you can explore, ranging from providing certain services or selling products over the Internet or from your home. There are many amateur writers making a little extra money by writing for magazines. One Idea is All You Need! Here’s Two of the Best Work from Home Ideas

May 27th, 2009

Work from Home ideas come in all shapes and sizes, but some have a lot more potential than others, especially in these days of hard economic times

Basically, if you are looking for ideas to work from home, the internet offers the most potential for anyone contemplating work from home ideas. However, in my recent experience, even though the online world keeps expanding at an exponential rate, many individuals don’t even consider it. Is this because all the best ideas for a home business are offline? l doubt that somehow, and in fact believe that the best ideas and certainly the most creative one’s, appear regularly online.

l think anyone looking for good ideas for a start up business should certainly seriously consider the internet, irrespective of your online experience. l was once in this position, until l took the bull by the horns and make the commitment to become proficient in using the internet to make money. And guess what? Well it’s a hell of a lot less complicated than l first thought, because once you know the basics of how things work, it gets easier and easier as time goes on. This is because once you have one site making you a few dollars a day, it’s just a matter of repeating the process in as many niches as you want.

The majority of people making money online are usually doing so with either Adsense or Affiliate Marketing. Or both!

(1) Making money with Adsense is a unique advertising medium that Google uses with advertising. Adsense advertising is the small text adverts you see contextually displayed on many websites. These ads directly relate to the content on the page, and the whole purpose of the exercise, as far as the site owner is concerned, is for as many people to click these ads as possible. This is because you, as the site owner, get paid so much from Big G (Google!) for every time a person clicks on one of the text ads. How much each click is worth to you is dependent on any particular adsense ad, and how much advertisers wish to pay for clicks to get visitors to their website. It can vary, but Google will pay anything from 5 cents a click up to over $80 a click, for relatively expensive services such as auto insurance and suchlike sectors.

Many individuals have content sites online, whose sole function is to earn cash with adsense, and it’s not that difficult to do. Just to give you some ideas, matters to do with health, Hypnosis, remedies, keep fit, cellphone ringtones and all sorts of popular gadgets are just a few of many popular niches, where all you have to do is keep adding more and more content with embedded adsense ads on the page. Once you build up the visitor count to your niche site, it’s a numbers game. Not all will click on an adsense ad, but a certain percentage will, so as time goes on and your adsense site matures, you will rank higher and higher in Google. Which for you, means more and more site visitors, more and more clicks and hopefully more and more money!. This is perhaps a simplified explanation of how adsense can make you money, but nevertheless, its more or less what it is, as adsense is a very simple concept.

How much you can make with this is dependent on many factors, but some guru’s claim to be earning thousands from their adsense empires. Without sounding like a cliche, the possibilities are literally endless.

(2) The basic concept of Affiliate Marketing, is similar to adsense in some ways, as all you are doing is putting yourself between the seller and buyer, and getting a commission for your trouble. With adsense you get paid for clicks, whereas with affiliate marketing, you earn a commission for any sales made after a visitor clicks on a link or banner on your site. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Adsense requires that you just have good related content and contextual ads. Affiliate marketing requires a certain amount of preselling on your site to entice a person to click on a banner or link…and hopefully purchase something, if you are to earn something.

If l remember correctly, in 2008 over $40 Billion changed hands in affiliate marketing on the internet. And despite recent economic turbulence, it’s predicted to grow substantially in the years ahead. Imagine getting just a tiny piece of that pie!

Whilst the explanations give you just the basics of how adsense and affiliate marketing work, they are very simple processes to implement, requiring just rudimentary knowledge. Sometimes, you don’t even need an online presence to market affiliate products.
