It is becoming more and more common for nail technicians to pack up their clippers, and their magnifying lamps and their OPI nail polish and whatever else they can fit in their nail equipment bags and drive to their clients homes to do a session. If you enjoy driving a bit to break up the day and have a sense of adventure about you, this would probably be a perfect job for you.  Quite a few spa parties have been orchestrated with mobile nail technicians and other beauty industry professionals tagging along.
